On the first night of Chanukah my mother gave to me, nuh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh thing( because we forgot to light the lights - we're bad jews - as L. likes to say.)
On the second night of Chanukah my mother gave to me, a Ree-ee-ee--ee-ee-see's peanut butter cup.
The reason this is set to a Christmas carol is because after we lit the lights and had dinner, i finally practiced playing x-mas carols on the piano.
Neither of these pictures came out very good; i couldn't decide which to post because i thought the first one the better but the second has a reflection of Luke and my hand in the window.

Both of them are so evocative. La la la la la, la,la,la la.
It's very pretty. I see myself as an atheist through and through these days, but I still love some of the religious Christmas Carols. Probably because they're written so even piss-poor singers like me can sound reasonably okay singing them.
I hope you have a warm and memorable Chanukah this season.
May your toes stay warm and pretty!
I can't find Luke or your hand...
carol - in the bottom picture look at the reflection in the glass in the left pain and you can see Luke in his baseball cap and in the other window is my hand (holding the camera.) I guess it's like a find waldo. :D
I know I'm late, but Happy Hanukkah!
See it!
Have a peaceful holiday time.
